Do your trucks need an ELD?
The federal rules cover trucks rated over 10,000 lb, truck plus trailer, as shown on the door sticker. They apply on trips that cross state lines or are part of one.

What TenTrucks doesn't do
TenTrucks tracks trucks that have the TenTrucks ELD installed, so excavators, loaders and skid steers don't show up. Driver safety scores come from ELD events: harsh braking, acceleration, cornering and seatbelt use. Speeding is a separate alert. TenTrucks doesn't measure the 150-mile radius or decide which days count as local work. It doesn't check who qualifies for the 24-hour reset either. Someone in the office owns those calls. If you also use TenTrucks for dispatch, the ELD's hours and positions don't flow into it today.
