How to compare ELD prices

A low monthly fee can hide a high total. Check these four things side by side before you pick an ELD provider.

The device

Bought once, rented every month, or free only with a long contract? TenTrucks: $149 one time, yours to keep.

The contract

Can you leave any month, and is there a fee to cancel? TenTrucks: no long-term contract when you buy the device.

What's in the plan

GPS tracking and IFTA reports are often extra tiers. TenTrucks: both included at $19.

Extra hardware

Some ELDs make you rent a tablet with a data plan. TenTrucks works on the driver's own phone or tablet.

ELD pricing questions

What carriers and owner-operators ask before they buy an ELD.

TenTrucks ELD is $19 per truck per month, plus $149 for the device, one time. Logs, DVIRs, GPS tracking and IFTA miles are all included.

For one truck, the first year is $377: the $149 device plus 12 months at $19. After that it's $228 a year, because you already own the device.

No long-term contract when you buy the device. You pay month to month for the trucks you run.

Yes. 24/7 support for drivers and the office is included in the $19 plan, at no extra cost.

You do, in a few minutes. Plug the device into the truck's diagnostic port with the cable we send, pair it with the app, and you're logging. No wiring and no shop visit. If you get stuck, our support team walks you through it, 24/7.
