Our Story
Beginning
It started in the early 2000s, when an American entrepreneur named Eric Hoopman went looking for developers in a place most people wouldn't think to look. Uzbekistan. What he found wasn't just talent. He found people who cared about the work the way he did.
That's how the team came together. We built a company in the auto dealership space, technology platforms for dealers in the U.S., and over the years we grew it from a scrappy operation into a company worth selling. And we sold it.
After that, everyone scattered. The founders took managing roles at large enterprise companies. Different industries, different challenges, different corporate machines. But that time wasn't wasted. We learned how big organizations actually run from the inside: the processes, the politics, the parts nobody tells you about until you're sitting in the room.
Eventually, Eric called us back together. The pitch was simple. We'd already built one company from nothing and sold it. Why not do it again, but this time in logistics and transportation? We knew how to work together. We knew each other's strengths. And we'd each picked up years of leadership experience that we didn't have the first time around. So we started TenTrucks.
What We're Building
The goal isn't to repeat what we did in auto dealerships. It's to take everything we learned there, and everything we learned in the years after, and point it at freight, shipping, and distribution. Logistics is full of inefficiencies that haven't been solved yet. We think we're the right team to go after them.
What's Next
We've been through the full cycle before: the early grind, the growth, the exit, the corporate chapter, and now a fresh start with sharper instincts. We're not here to talk about innovation. We're here to build something that works, the same way we did before, just with a much clearer picture of where we're headed.
