Yes. TenTrucks ELD is self-certified and registered with the FMCSA under the current ELD mandate, so it's on the official list of devices carriers can use.
An electronic logging device (ELD) connects to the truck's engine and records driving time automatically, so hours of service logs are accurate. Most trucks rated 10,001 lb or more on interstate trips need one, unless an exemption applies, such as trucks built before model year 2000 or local drivers who stay within 150 air miles.
Check that the ELD is on FMCSA's registered list, that the driver app is easy to use at a roadside stop, and that pricing and contract terms are clear. TenTrucks is FMCSA-registered, runs on the driver's phone and also counts IFTA miles by state.
$19 per truck per month, with hours of service logs, DVIRs, GPS tracking and IFTA miles included. The ELD is priced separately from TenTrucks TMS plans, and when you buy the device there's no long-term contract.

Yes. Drivers complete DVIRs in the app, routing defects straight to maintenance. State-by-state mileage is logged automatically using our telematics GPS, allowing you to export your IFTA fuel tax filing in one click.
Absolutely. Our telematics dashboard provides live location, speed, heading, idle time, and full route history. You can also set geofences around yards or shippers for automated arrival/departure alerts.
Drivers simply tap "Inspection Mode" in the app to hand the officer a device showing the last 8 days of logs. Logs can also be transferred directly to the FMCSA via web services or email, exactly as the mandate dictates.
Yes. Two or three drivers can log in on one phone in the same truck, and each driver keeps their own hours of service.
TenTrucks ELD and TenTrucks TMS are separate products from one company, so you can use either or both. To send ELD data to other systems, the ELD offers API keys and webhooks.
