Quick verdict: Rose Rocket is a strong TMS for freight brokers and large hybrid operations, and it is priced like one: the Full Service Platform starts at $2,080 per month with a 90-day implementation. If you run an asset-based fleet of 5 to 150 trucks, most of what you are paying for is brokerage tooling you will not touch. For that carrier, TenTrucks (flat pricing from $145 per month, no contract, setup in days) or Truckbase (from $290 per month) will do the job at a tenth of the cost. Read on for what Rose Rocket includes, what users report, and how the alternatives compare.

What Rose Rocket is, and who it is built for

Rose Rocket is a transportation management system that has been in market for more than ten years and now describes itself as “Transportation’s Best AI Platform.” It sells to three audiences: freight brokers, carriers, and 3PLs. In practice its product decisions follow the first and third of those, which matters if you are the second.

The core of the platform is order management and dispatch, with load tendering, track and trace, freight audit and pay, invoicing, carrier scorecards, capacity planning, quote management, appointment scheduling, and EDI built in. Around that core sit three things Rose Rocket leads with in 2026:

  • A no-code workflow builder. Dispatchers and ops managers can set up rules such as “when a load hits Delivered, email the customer and trigger invoicing” without a developer.
  • Three named AI agents. Rocky builds orders, TED turns inbox emails into records, and Rosie tracks loads. These are the features Rose Rocket’s marketing and recent product releases centre on.
  • Deep configurability. Custom fields, custom boards, automations, and a public API. Rose Rocket’s pitch to enterprise buyers is “build on the last TMS you’ll buy”: an alternative to building your own.

It integrates with QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central on the accounting side, and with DAT, Truckstop, Samsara, Geotab, Macropoint and FourKites for load boards and tracking. There is a driver mobile app for trips, chat, signatures and status updates, and a customer portal. The platform is SOC 2 Type II certified.

The scale claims on the vendor’s site are about freight volume, not fleets: over $3 billion in freight processed in 2025 and “100,000+ people in supply chain” using the product. Nowhere does Rose Rocket say what size of trucking fleet it is designed for, which is itself a signal. Features such as carrier scorecards, load tendering, capacity planning and freight audit are brokerage concepts: they exist to manage other people’s trucks. A carrier with 20 trucks and two dispatchers has no use for them, and still pays for them.

Rose Rocket pricing in 2026

Rose Rocket publishes one number: the Full Service Platform starts at $2,080 per month. Everything else is “talk to sales.”

PlanPriceWhat it includesImplementation
Full Service PlatformStarting at $2,080/monthUnlimited users (no per-seat fees), custom fields, boards, automations, the three AI agents, order/dispatch/tracking/invoicing, compliance monitoring, document management, 40+ integrations, mobile appsWhite-glove, 90-day go-live
EnterpriseCustom pricingEverything above plus dedicated account management, priority support, custom SLAs, SSO/SAML, custom integrations, unlimited API and AI agent access, quarterly business reviewsExtended beyond 90 days

Three things to understand before you book the consultation:

  1. “Starting at” is doing a lot of work. $2,080 is the floor. The page does not say what moves the price up (load volume, modules, integrations), and there is no calculator. Expect the quote to depend on your freight volume.
  2. Unlimited users is real, and it is the right model for brokerages. A 30-person brokerage with per-seat pricing elsewhere can come out ahead. A carrier with three office staff gets no benefit from it.
  3. Ninety days to go live is the standard, not the exception. Rose Rocket presents the 90-day implementation as a feature of the Full Service plan. G2’s reviewer data puts average implementation at about 3 months and average time to ROI at 17 months. For a carrier that needs dispatch working next week, that is the single biggest difference from the alternatives below.

At $2,080 a month, Rose Rocket costs $24,960 a year before any uplift. For comparison, TenTrucks’ Pro plan for up to 20 trucks is $540 a month ($6,480 a year), with every feature included and no contract.

What Rose Rocket reviews say

Rose Rocket’s public review footprint is small for a ten-year-old product. G2 shows a 4.8 out of 5 rating from 15 reviews; the vendor’s own site cites 4.8 on both G2 and Capterra. That is a good score from a small sample, and it is worth reading it that way: a handful of happy, mostly brokerage-side customers, not a large base of carrier dispatchers.

What the available data supports:

  • Satisfaction is high among those who review it. 4.8 is near the top of the TMS category on G2.
  • Implementation takes about three months. G2’s aggregated reviewer data lists a 3-month average implementation time, which matches the 90-day go-live Rose Rocket itself advertises.
  • Payback is measured in years, not months. G2’s reviewer data puts average time to ROI at 17 months.
  • The customers Rose Rocket showcases are brokers and logistics companies. The testimonials on roserocket.com come from Legacy Freight Global, Alpine Logistics, Leading Freight Solutions, GoSmooth and Samee Metal Trading. None is presented as an asset-based carrier.

What we could not verify: individual review text on G2 and Capterra sits behind a login or failed to load when we checked, so we are not reproducing specific pros and cons here. If you are evaluating Rose Rocket, ask the sales rep for two references that are carriers of your size with no brokerage arm. If they cannot produce them, that tells you where the product’s centre of gravity is.

When Rose Rocket is the right choice

There are real businesses for which Rose Rocket is the correct answer, and pretending otherwise would make this guide useless. Pick Rose Rocket if:

  • You broker freight, or you run assets and brokerage under one roof. Load tendering, carrier scorecards, capacity planning and freight audit are exactly the tools a brokerage desk needs, and Rose Rocket’s are mature.
  • You have 15 or more office users. Unlimited seats at $2,080 a month beats per-seat TMS pricing once the headcount is large enough.
  • Your workflows are unusual and you want to build around them. The no-code builder, custom boards and API let an ops team design their own process rather than adopt the vendor’s. That flexibility is the product.
  • Email intake is a daily bottleneck. If customers send orders as unstructured emails and someone re-keys them, the TED agent is a concrete time saver.
  • You can wait 90 days and fund an implementation project. Rose Rocket is a platform deployment, with the staffing and timeline that implies.

If three or more of those describe you, book the consultation. The rest of this guide is for carriers who read that list and recognised none of it.

When to pick TenTrucks instead

TenTrucks is built for the carrier Rose Rocket is not: an asset-based fleet that needs dispatch, ELD compliance, IFTA, invoicing and driver settlements working together, this month, without a project team. Pick TenTrucks if:

  • You run your own trucks and do not broker. Every feature in the product exists because a carrier needs it: dispatch board, driver app, rate-confirmation reading, IFTA from ELD miles, per-mile or percentage settlements, factoring, QuickBooks sync. There is no brokerage layer to pay for or learn around.
  • You want to know the price before the sales call. $145 a month for up to 5 trucks, $280 for up to 10, $540 for up to 20. Every plan includes every feature, unlimited office users, and no per-driver or per-load fees. The only add-on is EDI setup at $499 one-time per trading partner.
  • You will not sign a contract. Month to month, cancel anytime, free data export if you leave. Rose Rocket does not publish its terms; Truckbase’s minimum is billed annually.
  • You need to be live in days. Onboarding is guided, migration of loads, customers, drivers and equipment from your old TMS is free, and most carriers are dispatching within the first week. Compare 90 days.
  • ELD and TMS should be one system. TenTrucks sells its own FMCSA-registered ELD at $29 per truck per month, so HOS, DVIRs and IFTA miles flow into the TMS without an integration to maintain. It also connects to Motive, Samsara, Geotab and others if you already have hardware.

Where TenTrucks is not the right fit, to be fair in the other direction: fleets above roughly 150 trucks with custom ERP requirements, and pure brokerages with no assets. For those, Rose Rocket or an enterprise TMS belongs on the shortlist.

Frequently asked questions

How much does Rose Rocket cost?

Rose Rocket’s Full Service Platform starts at $2,080 per month, with unlimited users and a 90-day white-glove implementation included. The Enterprise plan is custom-priced. The vendor does not publish what raises the price above the starting figure, so expect a quote based on your freight volume and modules.

Is Rose Rocket good for small trucking companies?

For a small asset-based carrier, usually not. At $24,960 a year minimum and three months to go live, the cost and timeline are out of proportion to a 5–20 truck operation, and much of the feature set (load tendering, carrier scorecards, freight audit) is for managing other carriers’ trucks. Rose Rocket is a better fit for brokers, 3PLs and larger hybrid operations.

What are the best Rose Rocket alternatives for carriers?

For asset-based carriers running 5–150 trucks, the strongest alternatives are TenTrucks (flat pricing from $145/month, no contract, ELD and IFTA built in), Truckbase (from $290/month, small to mid-sized carriers) and Alvys (per-load pricing, suited to hybrid broker-carriers). See the comparison table above.

Does Rose Rocket integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. Rose Rocket lists QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as accounting integrations. TenTrucks, Alvys and Truckbase also sync with QuickBooks.

How long does it take to switch from Rose Rocket to another TMS?

It depends on the destination. TenTrucks offers free guided data migration of loads, customers, drivers and equipment, and most carriers are dispatching within the first week. Make sure you export your data from Rose Rocket before cancelling; ask the vendor about export formats and any end-of-contract terms, since those are not published.

The bottom line

Rose Rocket is a capable, well-reviewed platform for brokers and large hybrid operations, priced from $2,080 a month and deployed over 90 days. If that is your business, it deserves a demo. If you are an asset-based carrier with 5 to 150 trucks, you will pay for brokerage tooling you never open and wait a quarter to go live. TenTrucks gives that carrier dispatch, ELD, IFTA, invoicing and settlements in one system from $145 a month, with no contract and a free trial you can start today.
